The short version. LIFE OS is software and data infrastructure. It is not medical care and it is not a substitute for your doctor. Clinical decisions are made by licensed clinicians, not by us and not by Ellen.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms govern your use of mylifeos.com, the LIFE OS application, and related services operated by LIFE OS, Inc. By creating an account or using the services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services. You must be 18 or older and located in the United States.
2. LIFE OS does not provide medical advice
LIFE OS is a health data platform. It is not a medical device, a medical practice, or a healthcare provider. Content on the platform, including insights generated by Ellen and the LIFE Score, is provided for information, education, and organization. It does not diagnose, prescribe, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it does not replace the judgment of a licensed clinician.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any health protocol. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately. Do not rely on LIFE OS in an emergency.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe presents a safety or legal risk.
4. Clinical services and the medical network
Clinicians available through LIFE OS are independent licensed professionals. They are not employed by LIFE OS and LIFE OS does not practice medicine or control clinical judgment. A clinician may decline to prescribe. Any clinician patient relationship is between you and that clinician, and their fees are set by them.
5. Orders, pricing, and fulfillment
The LIFE OS platform is free. Clinical evaluations, prescriptions, laboratory services, and products purchased through LIFE Market are billed separately and priced at the point of purchase. Prescription products require evaluation by a licensed physician on our credentialed medical network before dispensing. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed pharmacies and are not FDA approved products. Prescription items are not returnable once dispensed except where law requires. Refund and shipping terms for LIFE Market purchases are stated at checkout on shoplifemarket.com.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the services for anyone other than yourself without authorization.
- Do not misrepresent your identity or medical history.
- Do not attempt to access another person's record, probe our systems, or interfere with the service.
- Do not scrape, resell, or reverse engineer the platform or its outputs.
- Do not use the services for any unlawful purpose.
7. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the health information you provide. You grant LIFE OS a license to host, process, and display that information as necessary to operate the services for you, and to use de-identified information to improve the platform. Research use is separate, opt in, and revocable as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Our intellectual property
LIFE OS, LIFE Market, LIFE Score, Ellen, the OS bracket mark, and the platform software and design are the property of LIFE OS, Inc. and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use them.
9. Disclaimers
The services are provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LIFE OS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted or error free, that data received from third party devices or laboratories will be accurate or complete, or that any particular health outcome will result. Individual results vary.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LIFE OS and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the greater of one hundred dollars or the amounts you paid to LIFE OS in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.
11. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, seated in Wyoming or conducted remotely. You and LIFE OS each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of arbitration by notifying us in writing within thirty days of first accepting these Terms. Claims may also be brought in small claims court where they qualify.
12. Changes and general
We may update these Terms and will post the revision on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and LIFE OS regarding the services. Questions go to the contact page.
